Before the Jesus Movement was corrupted by the right wing sociopolitical heretics, there was a year or two of constructive tension that allowed the countercultural progressives to fellowship with the church based orthodox folks and everyone got along pretty well. If Jesus could keep Simon Zealotes and Matthew from strangling each other, why can’t we all just get along?

Taking into account what Pastor Bill had to say, it is no wonder he is seeing Christians flocking to Orthadox worship. The Christains I deal with have no need to be lectured on whiteness, diversity, history, or any other of the nonsense that is effectually diluting Christianity at large. Pastor Bill's pronouncements are nothing new. The same sentiments have virtually destroyed the old line Protestant denominations to the point that they have become what a Methodist bishop recently declared as " an organisation whose duty is to promote social justice." It may be heresy to modern ears, but Christianity is not black, white, yellow or purple. It it is not political, diversified, or socially determined. It is simply what the the Bible through the Holy Ghost says it is. Attempting to recast it through the lense of whatever the attitudes of the day happen to be will successfully reroute more and more Christians in directions where they can locate Biblical authenticity.

I read the WD in the 80s and it helped me see the nonsense that was popular evangelical Christianity and now you're just doing the work of the right-wing for them. Asshole

This is barely less bullshit than Babylon Bee. So far, you're doing ok, but this is unveiled stereotyping of progressive Christians.
