The Copeland/Huckabee Love Affair

01/27/2008

Huckabee & Copeland

Billionaire evangelist oilman cattle rancher Kenneth Copeland, who sits so high atop the “prosperity gospel” pyramid that he has hundreds of “franchise” churches whose pastors send money back up the pipeline, spent much of his annual ministers conference last week talking about how he stonewalled the Senate Finance Committee, then boasted about having Mike Huckabee on his team.

“Kenneth Copeland, I will stand with you!” Huckabee yelled over the phone, according to Copeland. “You’re trying to get prosperity to the people, and they’re [the Senate] trying to take it away from ‘em. I will stand with you anytime, anywhere, on any issue!”

You are missing some Flash content that should appear here! Perhaps your browser cannot display it, or maybe it did not initialise correctly.

You can watch the whole speech here, but basically Copeland is saying that he offered to hide his close relationship with Huckabee—the ex-governor had recently recorded a full week of televised “Bible studies” with Copeland, who constantly huckstered Huckabee’s ten-year-old book—but Huckabee said he would gladly oppose the Senate’s investigation of Copeland and others because “they only have an 11 percent approval rating.”

Every year Copeland invites about 1,000 fellow prosperity-gospel ministers to his church/broadcasting facility/ranch/natural gas field/airstrip in Newark, Texas, a few miles north of Fort Worth, for a three-day conference. This year he shut down the conference after two of the days and convened some kind of separate session with the same ministers that would protect his 501(3)(c) tax exemption while he raised campaign funds for Huckabee. Reports on Thursday morning were that he’d come up with $111,000 in immediate cash, plus an additional million bucks in pledges, which would work out to around $1,000 per pastor. (These sorts of fundraising efforts with the Copeland “family” are fairly common. About 30 pastors raised $2.1 million for Copeland’s 70th birthday celebration a year ago.)

The Door left messages for Huckabee and his press secretary over the weekend, but they were not returned.

Copeland spent much of the three-day ministers conference reassuring his fellow pastors that all their ministries were safe from the prying eyes of the Congress. He repeatedly made a distinction between the Congress and the Internal Revenue Service, saying that he recognized the executive branch but not the legislative when it came to oversight. He was especially upset by a request that he reveal the donors to a “special offering” made to himself and his wife for the 40th anniversary of their ministry and said that he’d “promised to God” never to give any information to anyone about that, even if it means prison or death. He frequently mentioned receiving direct instructions from “the Lord,” including instructions to put Mike Huckabee on his television show, Believer’s Voice of Victory.

You are missing some Flash content that should appear here! Perhaps your browser cannot display it, or maybe it did not initialise correctly.

During his six programs with Huckabee, airing in November, the two men reminisced about their friendship and Huckabee’s political career in Arkansas, with occasional excursions into scripture. Neither of them distinguished themselves as Biblical scholars, but Huckabee’s comments were especially lame as he seemed to be sucking up to “Brother Kenneth” in discussing passages like James 1:3: “It is the trying of your faith that works patience.”

Huckabee’s read on that passage was that he used to think “trying” meant a trial of faith. (This is what 99 percent of commentators for the past 2000 years have also believed it meant.) But then, the more he thought about it, the more he thought the key word was “try.” It meant to “keep trying,” and every time you fail, to try again. “I tried tithing and it didn’t work. Well, try it again. I tried it three or four times. Well, try it again.” Huckabee’s view: it doesn’t mean to be patient when God sends trials, it means to assert yourself—in other words, the opposite of its apparent meaning. Since the Greek word for “try” as in “trial” and the Greek word for “try” as in “attempt” are two different words, Huckabee’s exegesis of this particular scripture is not only demonstrably wrong as a matter of fact, but he seems to be insisting on it as a way to support Copeland’s emphasis on tithing, which is the source of his fortune.

There are other examples scattered through the week, including some statements by Huckabee that, no matter what office he holds, “my only client is Jesus.”

Other highlights from the minister’s conference:

• Copeland seems puzzled by the fact that Senator Charles Grassley, who is spearheading the Senate investigation, was also the author of the Church Protection Act.

• Copeland talks about his natural gas company and says that the Senate’s suspicions about the source of that wealth are “bull.”

• Copeland’s characterization of his answer to Senator Grassley: “We gave them a several page lesson on ‘No’. . . . We gave them the address of the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C.”

• Copeland assures everyone that he’s personally been a billionaire “a long time” and that his ministry has taken in $1.3 billion over 41 years. “I’m the seed of Abraham. The seed of Abraham are known for being rich. I’m a Jew. I’m a rich Jew backed by a richer Jew. God loves me just as much as he loves Jesus.”

Editor's note: Confronted about the Copeland statements on "Meet the Press," Huckabee did not deny that he said what Copeland said he said.

Uh oh. I was gunning for Huckabee, but now I am totally not for him. This is real correct, or is this a satire piece?

Anonymous | 07:47 pm on 1/29/2008

The content of this article is false.
It seems to be biased information.
I have personally questioned Huckabees stance.
I did personally see the broadcast mentioned with Huckabee.
The bottom line of all they discussed was on character.

I totally disagree with this article even though I have not made up my mind about Huckabee.

mn I hope this is real, Huckabee has always given me a bad vibe, now this. Copeland is under investigation by the Senate and a presidential candidate said he will stand with him on any issue if he can flood his campaign with donations.

The president has pardon authority. If that point alone with the statement Huckabee made, is not basically saying "send money, if you get indicted and convicted due to that senate investigation, the president can pardon you, hint hint."

Give me a break, I wonder if Hillary made the same promise to Hsu.

All I can say is that when our country is at war, wouldn't it make sense to vote for someone who has some experience in war?? The only one I know of that fits that bill is McCain.
happy birthday wishes

BoycottTBN | 05:21 pm on 1/31/2008

Yes, this is real. This right-wing strategy worked for Bush and now Huckabee is trying the same thing. I voted for Bush because I thought he was a Christian and would return the country's moral values.

Huckabee is also in bed with John Hagee and has spoken at Hagee's church as well. He's really playing the "religious" card.

All I can say is that when our country is at war, wouldn't it make sense to vote for someone who has some experience in war?? The only one I know of that fits that bill is McCain.

Anonymous | 12:49 am on 12/30/2008

what is your definition of "at war"?

Dont you have to have an aggressor, hopefully distinguished by the following of an army identified and agreed upon by both camps?
also...Ussualy territory is involved and conventional ground sea and air forces can be crucial to a victory,,,and as to the goal, a victory or a compromised settlement is aimed at, by both sides.
Is any of this substantially wholey or a part of the 'War on Terror'.???

Time to think rather than rush to follow a predigested allusion to threat from the 'other' or a straw men???
Ask who is gaining from this gambit claim?

Obviously people invloved in defeating real and imagined threats to the USA's perception of 'mational security' and providing it, its trusted allies, and even not so trusted temporary allies with the military hardware and loans. (ie the elites and owners of the military-indusrial complex)

And then there's those involved in controlling and marketing natural resources and energy sources, especially as we are abusing our stewardship of His creation in such a way that is creating greed feuled crises of lack/shortage or unequal distribution.

corporate sole - interesting information, but not against unethical people in power or within your corp sole. Example, the catholic church is set up under corporate sole. When the sex cases settled out of court churches nearby had to sell their land! to pay off the settlement. They did nothing wrong but paid dearly for another's sin. Who needs that kind of protection?

Man of Faith | 03:00 am on 5/30/2008

You obviously do not know the Bible. Very obvious. Go read Deuteronomy 28
Proverbs 10:22
Luke 6:38
Malachi 3
Mark 11:23-24
And especially Deut. 8:18 the whole purpose why God wills us to
prosper is to be a blessing to others. But doubt and unbelief will not allow The Blessing to manifest in your life. Jesus spoke of the 30, 60, and 100 fold return. If you do not believe it, then you will not see it. Just give prosperity a try. It works and I use it to bless people. It's not a money message but an obedience message.
I was at KCM/EMIC and I first hand saw the Copeland ministry give ALOT to the poor and lots of outreach ministries and other churches all over the world. One outstanding example: A police officer died on duty in Fort Worth, TX in 2007 on a freeway while pulling over a drunk driver and was hit by a motorist and Senior Pastor George pearsons of EMIC a.k.a. Kenneth Copeland Ministries GAVE the widow and two young daughters a $50,000.00 check and new Bibles to be a blessing to them. Watch how you criticize and get your facts straight.
I was in need once when I was there and they paid my rent, groceries, and power bill when I could not find work. KCM are givers praise God! They OBEY God's Word.

Be cautious before you harshly judge other Christians because the Lord sees it! And if money is SO BAD, why do YOU work for it every week!

Oh, read Romans chapter 10 as well.

BoycottTBN | 09:34 am on 6/18/2008

Man of Faith,
Wow! A measley $50 grand when he brags about having BILLIONS!! The poor widow.....and her children!!

I guarantee they would not have paid your rent, etc. if you had not tithed money to that church!

Play the lottery people.....you'll have a better chance of winning and....either way it is still throwing your money away!!

Eliminate the middle man, give directly to the poor! Almost all non profits have accountability to show where the money goes....EXCEPT PREACHERS!! What a scam!!

Anonymous | 11:34 pm on 6/23/2008

Amen.God Bless Kenneth And Gloria.

Former EMIC Tither/Sucker | 01:28 pm on 6/24/2008

I went to that church. I got baptised there. I am a Christian, Jesus Christ IS the som of God and was crucified FOR our sins. That said, I was seeking God, I was in a mess, I lived very near the church at Eagle Mountain lake and learned about it on TV so it was not a stretch for me to go there and become a member. I did what they said to do, get involved, be a giver, be a tither and BELIEVE in the word of God.

Man of Faith: I heard the same preacher telling of church members who had to come to the church for rent money because they had given their rent payments to the church "BELIEVING" for a blessing and facing eviction. Many times what feels like a word from God to give is really a response to the emotion driven preaching of these very successful manipulators.

My first uncomfortable moment with Kenneth Copeland was on New Years Eve 1999, a late night meeting to ring in the new year (2000 or Y2K). I was there and I saw Kenneth Copeland say while preaching that HE WAS THE REASON THE COMPUTERS DID NOT CRASH - THE LIGHTS DID NOT GO OFF ETC....all the things that speculators predicted would occur when the calendars all turned over on Jan 1,2000.I remember thinking that was a very arrogant strange statement.According to him out of his own mouth he claims to have been the ONE who advised the government to prepare in advance of 1/1/2000 to avoid a world wide disaster.

My second uncomfortable moment with KC was when he preached on the Prodigal Son for the third time. I noticed that every sermon on this parable had a diffent "message". Kenneth Copeland is a master at manipulating ANY text to read as if it fits whatever his message is.

Time goes on, I continue attending the church, tithing and giving offerings and being told in sermons that MY financial situation is a direct result of my faith. I didn't ever consider Kenneth Copeland to be the minister of the church because his son in law was the real minister. He was only there as a guest preacher from time to time so my issues with him were not reason enough to leave. However, because of the stong emphasis on Prosparity, I felt I must not have enough faith if I am still poor.

I had nothing more to give So I gave of my time, I stayed after church to serve meals for the church goers from a halfway house recently released from prison. I remember the last time I attended and stayed late to serve lunch. I stopped on the way into church to buy two cans of "Fix-A-Flat" because I had a flat tire I couldn't afford to replace, I was concerned with having a flat after church so I bought a spare can. I went to the church service and when the offering plate was passed, I put in my envelope with my 10% tithe and listened as they told about the mission progran and then PASSED THE PLATE AGAIN FOR THE MISSION PROGRAM. I was ashamed that I had given ALL THE MONEY I HAD AND HAD NO MORE TO GIVE, I had to pass the plate on because I had nothing. That sunday we had a guest preacher, I listened and enjoyed the sermon and to my surprise after he spoke, THEY PASSED THE PLATE AGAIN AS A GIFT OFFERING FOR THE GUEST PREACHER. Again, I had no money and was ashamed when I had to pass it on without contributing.

After the sermon I went into the dining hall to servie lunch feeling I must not be worthy of Gods blessings because I had nothing to give. I worked late cleaning dishes and washing up. I walke out to my car and sure enought, the tire was flat. I put in my Fix-A-Flat, I remember noticing that I was one of only about 4 cars still left in the parking lot so it was quite late in the afternoon.

I go out the church gate and make a right to head back to Lake Worth and there in the right is the airport. As I passed, two jets were pulling out of the hanger and preparing to take off on the runway. I guess Kenneth and his guest preacher both had other places they had to be off to after their Sunday lunch.

I remember pulling to the side of the road and looking closely at what I was seeing and feeling like I was being played by these two superstar preachers and their family members. It was there at that moment that I decided I was never coming back there. Of course I knew enough to know that KCM would brush me off as being consumed by the spirit of "offence" and by not beliveing or having enough faith. The unanswered calls from the committee members came in regularly for a couple of weeks but I ignored them.

Egerton | 03:27 am on 7/22/2008

My friend. the word of God is the word of God. from your piece, it shows that you only had sense knowledge, never revelation knowledge. i am not in America, but i know this, no man will give anything in an act of faith and go unrewarded. if you sowed your time, your money etc. God will surely bless you. it might seem to have delayed but it will surely come. The only thing that can stop it is you. Not God, Not KC. I have done all you have done and did not get result for 7year! when it did come my life was on the ascendency. the bible says "who so looketh in this perfect law of liberty and CONTINUETH therein..." Has it ever occurred to you that you could be wrong in the assessment of these preachers. what of if you are wrong in slandering them? what would you tell God.
How can you be blessed when you are the one telling unbelievers that believers are cheats! David would not even raise a finger against evil Saul who was after his life; calling him the Lord's anointed. No wonder he was a man after God's heart and no wonder he was blessed like he was.
People. You don't do the Christ you profess or his gospel any good when you are the one going on the internet trying to prove to the whole world how many of you preachers are fake.
Have you considered yourselves, your faults? if God were to expose you personally would you still be writing this?
The same people you call fakes, cheats, cons have brought hope to us in Africa. But you...?
America dont be a land that eats up its own inhabitants

Looks like, by heart, you were a spectator and never a participator (by heart). Looks like you just wanted to see "what would happen if". Well did you ever think of what could have been on the other side of that "test"? It is possible that you gave up right on the brink of your breakthrough. I pray you get back in (just repent) and do not lose heart! The devil don't like you but you are giving him real joy ever since you gave up your confidence (based on spectating on man). Love you!

It's usually the idea of American dream ambition & personal-enpowerment or grass-roots ~ American-ism~
James 2:14 ++ is the basis for giving ~

1 Timothy 6:6; Gal 5:22, Ephesians 4:7 ++ is the basis for spirituality & ministry ~

e.g. ~ Utube ~ comments less than KCM praise-worthy are immediately blocked by their staff ~ so objective comment(s) don't stand at chance ~ even though ~ they easily uploaded their way to Ytube ~ which is supposed to be an open-forum ~ Acts 28:30 ~

Personally, I don't see millions of people emerging as billionaries ~ from this movement ~
Their staff mayb? ~ mayb as much ~ as we'll see the public grow richer from the lottery ~

There's some loose-ends & truths that aren't being revealed w/ this movement & it's fans ~ it continues to prosper ~ why ~ I have no idea why God would want to play to people's personal ambitions ~ esp ~ when such ~ usually have immoral consequence ~

The reality is ~ life can b a struggle (thanxs to Gen 3) ~ it's the God's wisdom, team-work, & the Grace of God ~ among other thing(s)~ that can get people thru ~ less for celebrites of course ~
America ~ gotta luv it ~

I am in no poor house! As a matter of fact my life has been getting better and better the more I attend Crefflo Daollar's church. Get your mind right and your heart right because Jesus is coming soon and you do not want to be talking this crazy stuff about the prophets of God when Jesus returns. If you choose to still do so, you WILL be left behind. If you are willing to have Jesus come and go without you, then keep this crap up. Love you!

Jill in Christ Jesus | 02:18 pm on 2/09/2008

The things of God are foolishness to those who don't know Him. Kenneth Copeland is an honest, successful best-selling author, and knows His rights as a child of God in Jesus. The author of this article sounds jealous in his slander and twisting of truth.

BoycottTBN | 03:03 pm on 2/11/2008

To Jill in Christ Jesus:

And you think stealing the tithe money is of "God." You'd better wake up and quit worshiping the cash-cow fake jesus and get saved!! This is nothing but legal rape of the flock! oooppps....maybe illegal after Grassley gets through with these con artists.

Do me and yourself a favor and read the New Testament and see if you can find Copeland and the wolves....then get back to this blog. I think you'll wake up if you start reading the bible for yourself and study the language. Jesus rebuked and admonished people like Copeland!

Sowing seed IN CONTEXT is talking about sowing the WORD (JESUS) into people's hearts.....NOT MONEY...NEVER MONEY!

We are supposed to be rich in faith, wisdom, love, etc. NOT MONEY! Jesus spoke against money and being rich, more than he did for it, because he knew what money does to people.

God is pulling people out of these apostate churches all over the place and He is exposing these pimps for the con artist LIARS that they are.....you better hope you are one he pulls out too!!

Swallow your pride and cry out to God for the truth....I promise he'll show you.

BondServant | 01:31 pm on 2/22/2008

To BoycottTBN:

So you are saying we should live poor and have nothing? I think there is a plumline balance in all of this. If I check my Bible Abraham, Isaac, David, Solomon were all on the upper end of the economic scale. If we were to look at Abraham, his wealth gave him the ability to have a small army of his own. I would say that is wealth. So BoycottTBN be careful when you tell others to swallow their pride because the measure in which you judge others is the measure you will be. The scripture is to not worry about the splinter with a log in your own. The principle is that what measure you look for the splinter the measure is for your own log.

BoycottTBN | 11:38 am on 2/27/2008

To BondServant,
It never fails, you point out that the pimps are stealing from the flock....actually RAPING the flock with their greed and false doctrine and you'll always get someone who says "are you saying we should live poor and have nothing?" Please tell me where in my post that I said that??? No where!!

There is a huge difference between earning money and becoming rich, than scaring people by lies into tithing and giving until they are broke so that the pastor and his family can live like rock star pimps!

What I said was, that SOWING SEED has nothing at all to do with money. It is twisting scripture for filthy lucre to say so....Kenneth Copeland has more money than he knows what to do with and there are still poor and starving people all over the world. If he would quit taking the tithe money, perhaps many more people could be helped.

And to address your "judge not" and "splinter" that IN CONTEXT is talking about judging hypocritically. I have not done that......so please do some research and find out the true meaning in context and get back to me.

SickofCrookedTVpreachers | 03:51 pm on 4/26/2008

I have no problem with Senator Grassly going after these guys.

It's about time SOMEBODY did!

The Church refuses to discipline its own, and the World sees right through the so-called "seed-sowing" and other crazy gimmicks of these crooks.

THEY are the only ones prospering, as people are sending THEM their money, and they are spending it on fleets of motorcycles and jets.

If judgment begins at the House of God, that tells me that what is wrong with the World is US! We are so worldly and deceived that we can't see the greed, selfishness and hedonism that is driving all of this. We call it "just trying to reach the lost", etc.

My unsaved friends just laugh because they can see striaght through the crookedness of it all. WAKE UP CHURCH!!!!

Here's another perfect example of false religion...
www.familyforce5.com music video #2 "Love addict".
SEX sells, even for Christians!!!"We're just trying to REACH the kids", yeah, right. I'm tired of believing whatever is done in the name of Christ is "Christian".

Suzanne | 07:26 pm on 2/26/2008

I agree with you! They preach "another Jesus, another gospel" NOT the Jesus & gospel of the Bible!

Anonymous | 02:44 am on 5/30/2008

I support Jill and BondServant. Prosperity is all overt the
Bible. The purpose for it is clearly stated in Deuteronomy 8:18, go look it up before you judge other people who know what the Word says. Jesus clearly spoke in Luke 6:38, "GIVE, and IT will be given to you; a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over shall MEN give into your bosom. For with the same measure you use it will be measured unto you.

All I know is I act on God's Word and believe Him and He has blessed me over and over again. Anyway, when you give financially to support the work of Jesus in this earth you are giving to God and not man. If that man is dumb enough to touch it in the wrong way God will hold him accountable. Those of you who do not "believe" in the Word of Faith, go read Romans chapter 10 and do a study with a Strongs concordance and E-Sword word search and see how truthful God's Word is in faith. Hebrews 12! It's there. And instead of criticizing your fellow brother's and sisters in the Lord, pray for them. Common sense!

Remember: The devil is the accuser of the bretheren. If you sow discord among bretheren you are ultimately opening up the door to the devil in your life. Don't give him access by the words of your mouth because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks! YOU CAN have what you SAY. Mark 11:23. Jesus said it. Not us! IT IS WRITTEN!

Study these scripture for those of you who are in doubt and unbelief about God prospering His people:
Prosperity is financial, health, relationships, sound mind, etc.

Proverbs 10:22
Psalms 115:14
Luke 6:38
Romans 15:29
2 Cor. 5:17 ('All things made new') Think about it.
Deuteronomy 28
Malachi 3 For those who think they don't have to tithe or give.
Mark 11:23-24 (You can have what you say) as Jesus spoke!!!!!!

Wake up people.

God bless.

1 Tim 6:5-9 (NIV) ...men, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction.

1 Tim 6:10-12 (NIV) For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many griefs. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

He that oppresseth the poor to increase his riches, and he that giveth to the rich, shall surely come to want (Proverbs 22:16; KJV).

OOOOPS....here we are 3 years later and what? Everything was dropped on ALL of the accused, OKAY! Why do these preachers have to be stealing the tithe? If this was the case they would be out of business, 'cause who do you know (other than fictitious Robin Hood) that stills money and does something good with it...(things that make you say hhmmm...). How could Jesus speak against having money and being rich, when even He had a treasurer. What broke person do you know that has a treasurer..(things that make you say hhmmm...). I don't want him to pull me out, I want to dig deeper so I can continue to testify about the WHOLE prosperity of God. Love you!

Following the logic of you comment. Is a best selling authorship a sign of God's blessings? Why insult the author of the article as opossed to giving solid proof that the article is wrong? are christains not to correct, encourage and build up one another?

Wake up people. Copeland is the most dangerous man alive today, and Huckabee agreed with his biblical doctrines right on tv, for an entire week. If you want to see and hear the truth visit .........

I heard some pretty bizarre things out of Copelands mouth myself. He took credit for saving the world from the Y2K disaster at his New Years Eve sermon at EMIC. I was there, no tape needed.

I had to use my oxygen concentrator because I thought I was going to hyperventilate after reading this. I do not think it's appropriate for politicians to be rubbing shoulders with prominent religious figures. And the money issue! Doesn't anyone see something wrong with this?

IDK

Yeah I for him too. I saw an article about it on this site.

It's most definitely for real. The press release shows Doug Wead, former Bush family evangelical adviser, reporting on part of the same thing. Satire would at least be humorous, and not just scary and sad.

I met Doug Wead when he was still an Assemblies of God missionary. That was before he became as speech writer for Ronald Reagan. Ordained ministers, like Wead and Huckabee, should not become politicians. Kenneth Copeland has been using his program for quite a few years to promote extremist Republican political ideas. One of men who has been on there quite a few times is the American History revisionist, David Barton of Wallbuilders. Barton is an Oral Roberts University graduate. Barton, a religious education major, got himself on the Texas textbook committee and also on the board of the Texas Republican Party. With his position on the latter, he helped make sure that the Texas Republican Party's platform had a few "Christian" planks in it.

One thing about it, Copeland and his son-in-law, George Pearsons, are no longer on the Board of Regents at ORU. Both of them have been ORU drop-outs.

Sounds like someone is against these men personally mentioned in this article.
What practical information is given of why any of those mentioned should not run for political office?

There assembly been any tallish stories of existing against all tbe ratio and magical valiance. But there are pol stories of monumental inefficiency in the move of aid. And Job is now out of the travail in lineament of remaining stories yet the superior is in vituperative pauperism of module and assets

I had a friend who owned several rental properties. One lady, who rented a small home from him, always complained that she didn't have enough money to make the entire rental payment. During one of his visits to collect the rent my freind noticed a letter on her table from a well known televangelist thanking her for making a contribution to his ministry.Needless to say my friend gave her a piece of his mind.

How many times is this repeated across the country? A lady swallowing hook, line and sinker Copeland's scam and forwarding him money because he promised her a windfall if she did.

BoycottTBN | 11:27 am on 1/28/2008

Hey dsmith,
How many times is it repeated??? No telling....it's the new thing....sprirtual lottery!! Keep your money in your pocket...give directly to the poor....eliminate the middle man.....AND RUN FROM THESE WOLVES!!

Will someone tell me what exactly the Bible says about giving?
Isn't that what the argument is about?
