DISCUSSThe Rev. Gary Michael Aldridge, pastor of Thorington Road Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama, was found dead in his home with his hands and feet bound behind his back, dressed in two rubberized suits. State medical examiner Stephen Boudreau ruled the cause of death as “accidental mechanical asphyxia” and told church members that “these things happen—we see probably two of these a year.” The other one is normally Methodist, however.
