Mr. Shipp doesn't want to be critical of Kenny's doctrine. I will then. The Copelands teach "Word Of Faith" theology. Space doesn't permit to get into lengthy detail of this aberrant doctrine. Suffice it to say "WOF" teaches that believers are "little gods," that we are to be healthy,very wealthy,and highly "anointed" beings. This is a damnable theology and I'd encourage people involved in it to leave it immediately!
that does sound scary, doesn't it?!!! healthy, wealthy, and anointed. we sure don't want that, do we? much better to be beggardly, sickly, and no spirit within. yeah. that sounds like something I could offer to others as the best life.

Just where in Scripture are people in general promised health, wealth, and prosperity? Solomon was given great wealth because he DIDN'T ask for it. Just how does this fit with the Health and Wealth Gospel? Job lost everything and sat in ashed and scratched at his skin with a pot shard because God took it all away. Of course GOD gave it back because Job was humbled and acknowledged God as sovereign. These televangelists are men and should be treated as such. They are just as fallen as anybody else and have no greater claim to God than the poorest believer anywhere.

Solomon was under Old Covenant. Jesus came for the very purpose of establishing a NEW Covenant.

Real funny! You are trampling on the countless martyrs who died for the Gospels sake! While clods like Copeland are living in extreme luxury! I'm not preaching a poverty Gospel. Nor am I endorsing heretic "little gods" like Copeland! Copeland is a false teacher and I think you should get away from his teaching as fast as possible! The Apostle Paul Himself wrote: "The WORD is nigh thee, even in thy MOUTH, and in thy HEART: that is, the WORD OF FAITH, which we PREACH." Rom 10:8 This verse is the very essence of what the Copelands teach and preach. In all the years I have listened, I have NEVER ONCE heard them preach that we should never go to a doctor or have operations, etc. but rather that each person should decide on these things based on the level of faith we're at.
Faith is like a plant; it grows in our heart if we keep feeding it and the Word of God and His promises to us is the FOOD and we are all at different levels depending on how much of the Word of God we feed on each day. Jesus taught ALL OF THAT and it is OUR responsibility to study it and pray for UNDERSTANDING.
Personally, I was once diagnosed with, according to doctor, permanent damage to my back which would cause me agonizing pain "for the rest of [my] life". While respecting the doctor's medical knowledge, I immediately rejected the diagnosis based on MY knowledge of God's promises to me. I declared that this back pain did not belong to me, that "BY His [Jesus] stripes I was healed" and I had no intention of living with pain for the rest of my life. It lingered a little while and I did take pain killers but at the same time I kept claiming God's promise and suddenly, 3 months later I was instantly totally delivered of it. ALL pain left instantly!! That was in the mid 90s and the pain has never returned! My family and I have experienced many such miracles, including skin cancer. Praise God and Thank you Jesus for purchasing our healing at Calvary! And THAT is what the Copelands teach.
On the financial side: As a new Christian I was told that if I gave God 10% of my income He would give it back to me multiplied 10 fold. I was a struggly single mother; I gave $60 and didn't tell anyone. Less than 2 weeks later, someone who knew nothing of this gave me exactly $600!! Another time, I found cash in my letterbox when NO ONE BUT GOD AND I KNEW I needed it. It showed up right on time and to this day I have no idea who put it there.
That was MANY YEARS before I even came across word of faith teaching and the names associated with it. I wish I'd found that teaching years earlier to get a deeper understanding of what Jesus paid so very dearly for me to have so it wouldn't have been an on and off experience for me for a long time.
I have had INSTANT, MIRACULOUS debt cancellation of $1800 years ago when I had no way of paying it. ALL my needs are always abundantly supplied and I am able to give offerings to help spread the Gospel and also to help the poor.
It is a COMMAND from Jesus Himself to be generous and to give. "GIVE and it SHALL BE GIVEN TO YOU; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." Luke 6: 38 How does one GIVE if they're poor themselves? Would God expect us to GIVE and at the same time leave us poor and needy? No. He's not unfair nor unjust.
God's Word is very powerful and it works every time; but ONLY for those who BELIEVE what it says (which is what FAITH is) and then DO what it says. That's where the miracles are.

yes, Ken and Gloria teaches faith and that is exactly what Jesus taught in HIs ministry. so when you critise "FAITH TEACHERS" know you are critising Our Lord JESUS CHRIST. i don't know what theology you are teaching or is it "cementry" but all the same GOD BLESS THE CRITICS
People are thinking that they are saved under these ministries and nothing could be further from the truth. They are selling a fake Jesus, who they say wants you to be rich beyond your wildest dreams. All you have to do is send "god" your money (meaning the ministry) and god is going to be so pleased and happy with you that he's going to make you rich. Bible for that anyone??? It's not there!!
It is beyond me how anyone can't plainly see that Kenneth & Gloria Copeland are con artists. But then I sat under Hagee's church for 12 years believing the same crap! Thank God, He woke me up last Spring to the truth and I realized that the only one's getting filthy rich are the pimps, and they are doing it off the backs of the poor, widows and orphans....the very ones Jesus ministered to! Their greed knows no bounds.

Television is an illusion and thus not conducive to the truth. That includes Christianity and Journalism. That leaves us in a bit of a pickle. Maybe get off the couch and go to a real church where editing isn't quite so measured. Jesus was lucky that TV wasn't realized when he was on this earth. He would have been one of the first ones kicked off the island, via a torturous cross of course.

It's been over 2 years since I left a WOF 'church' in MN where Copeland sits on the board. I attended for 4 years. Over the course of those 4 years I made $18,000 - $22,000. During that time I lost 10's of thousands of dollars and am still paying for it. My family has grown and I need a house (rather than our small apartment), but I will not qualify for a mortgage for many years because I have yet to pay off the debt incurred by giving to WOF ministries including Mac Hammond, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Jesse Duplantis and Oral Roberts.
i have watch these ministries since i was saved 27 years ago and i knew the first time i heard any of them, Jack hayford,cref dollar, copelands,joyce meyers,benny hinn,jim baker,almost everyone on TBN there were a bunch of deceivers
hey the only ones getting rich are the pastors it dosent work name it and claim it, they ask you to give all your money to them , if they were accountable and you could see there bank accounts you would see there lies,
I have an idea. If we all write or even campaign that if the "WOF" ministers would only "plant their seed" in our lives, then GOD will really bless them, and WE can all get out of our devilish poverty. How much better could it get for them for "saving" us all from our financial pressures and ushering us into the blessings of GOD. If their thinking is correct, then we will be blessed by them and GOD will fill them to overflowing. My guess is they will say, "That's not faith!" I say, "where is your faith? If you are doing GOD's will then He will bless you and you won't need faith in your followers giving." I think that this would shut them up or at least cause them to rethink what faith really is.
I have been praying for some time that the Lord would remove such people as the Copelands, Hagins, and Hinns of this world that are a shame and disgrace to His name. At last it appears that they are on the skids.
I would be very interested to hear from anyone who knows the Copelands personally, having worked with them, or been close to them. I am interested in how they are in private. I get the feeling that behind the scenes they are just the same as anyone in the street; like any sinner you could name, though not into anything obviously nasty. Anyone know them well? Contact me, please. (I am a minister myself, in the UK, and come across these people's work sometimes)

Oh dear... how sad is it that people just cant open their eyes and see the obvious....Kenneth Copeland is just plain out and out a Con artist theres no two ways about it... ive listened to his babbling for about 8 years now and like some at first i really thought he was genuine.... then i listened closely instead of just hearing whats on the surface i heard all his blasphemy and garbage that came spewing from his mouth.... his wife Gloria is no better her babblings are just as bad.... in some cases even worse as without realizing she actually says.. and i quote.."sure you can go to heaven if you dont tithe and be poor ... but id rather go to heaven and be rich"... that was taken from one of her Believer Voice of Victory TV shows... Just how superficial is this woman????not to mention the fact that Shes 65 and does not have one wrinkle??? ,... honestly guys i mean come on who are we kidding here??ive heard her say that its Gods will that she stays so young>>>???? cmon Gloria admit it... God and about $100,000 in cosmetic surgery???? same for good ole Kenny Boy hes over 70 and .. gee guess what?? not one gray hair??? wow thats impressive... its time that Gods real work began and these Shysters were sent to the appropriate punishment..... any suggestions folks :)??????
My uncle is a Mormon bishop, so I have been greatly affected by the Mormon church. But in the last 3 yrs I would say the WoF has surpassed Mormonism as the most detrimental to my life. I have a mood disorder from a head injury and take meds. I have always had WoF’ers say I am not a real Christian because I don’t have enough faith to be healed. But this is just minor compared to what has transpired over the last 3 yrs.
A guy moved in next door to me and we became friends. For 3 yrs he was a great guy. He was on parole and when he got off he started drinking, drugging and stealing. He has totaled 6 vehicles and been in jail 8 times in 3 yrs. He takes 50-60 pain pills a day. And lies about it constantly. When I try to warn him that he is flirting with disaster,,, he just says “don’t speak bad things into my life “. I had to ask him to examine himself to see if he was really in the faith..
So then my friend got shot 3 times. He is paralyzed from the chest down. He stole drugs from a guy and they shot him and his cousin. But they lied and played it off as a case of road rage. But the truth came out. He still says others are speaking bad things into his life, that is why his life stinks. But I tell him people can say “them pills are going to ruin you” continually, over and over, but as long as he does not take a pill, bad things won’t happen.
SO NOW HE THINKS GOD WILL HEAL HIM, he is memorizing “healing scriptures”. Of course God can only heal him if EVERYONE speaks positively.
When my friend got shot he crashed into a cemetery. And he has a tattoo of a cross with his brother‘s (who committed suicide) name on it. The bullet went right through the center part of the cross. BUT BECAUSE OF THE WORD OF FAITH TEACHING,,, and HIS ITCHING EARS,,,, he cannot see.
The WoF is demonic and very very dangerous. It is nothing more that occultic witchcraft in the church. Preparing the way for the anti-Christ and the great delusion that God will send upon the world and the believers who think they have NO NEED FOR ANYTHING, yet are naked and poor in the things of God
I thank God for kenneth Copeland and his Ministry!! My son was in an accident and they were cutting his dead body out of the car; Because of the truth that I was tought in the word of God through the ministry I knew I had the athority to command life into my son !! I tell you the truth God is faithfull to His word !! And something happens when you refuse to be refused, Suddenly circumstances change! Where there was death there is now life! My God is so wonderful He will never put your faith to shame dare to speak and believe His word!! It really wont return onto Him void! It really will accomplish that which it is sent to do!! It's just too late for me folks I have tasted of faith and it is wonderful!Tithe, speak Gods word, speak in tongues!!! You are god's you do have athority God wants you to imitate Him!!!! Read the Gospel Books and see for yourself that Jesus could only perform miracles "according to [people's] faith". He said it REPEATEDLY to people after they stated to Him what they wanted: "as you believe" or "according to your faith".. YET, Matthew 13: 58 tells us that in His own hometown: "..He [Jesus] did NOT do many mighty works there BECAUSE OF THEIR UNBELIEF.." It was always FAITH that impressed and pleased Jesus; yet He loved everyone! Faith has EVERYTHING to do with answered prayer. We are saved "by Grace THROUGH FAITH.." ( Ephesians 2: 8) God loves every single human being that has and will ever lived; YET in spite of His great Love for us all, NOT ALL human beings will spend eternity with Him in heaven. Because FAITH is required to receive salvation. That same FAITH is required for prayers to be answered. It's been my experience for 23 years now; what I have believed for I have received and what I had trouble believing for I didn't receive. I have seen the very same thing in other believers' lives.. Same God; same Love because He changes not. yet not same desired results.. I realized all that years before I ever heard the expression "word of faith" or the name Kenneth Copeland. Hebrews 11: 6 "..without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God" If we don't excercise FAITH, that "substance of things hoped for.." the Bible says we CANNOT please Him; that is IN SPITE OF THE FACT that HE loves us very very much! Faith is God's language..
THAT'S THE POINT OF FAITH THOUGH..YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE TO RECEIVE....WE ALL HAVE FREE WILL, IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SOMETHING, GOD CAN'T MOVE THROUGH YOUR DISBELIEF...AND YES CORRECT THAT GOD MOVED IN LOVE, BUT HE CAN ONLY MOVE THROUGH A PERSON'S FAITH, IF HE MOVED IN LOVE, EVERY BAD THING IN THE WORLD WOULD BE STOPPED....OH WAIT THAT'S THE PURPOSE OF JESUS COMING AND TEACHING US TO USE THE WORD, GOD GAVE THE AUTHORITY OF THIS PLANET TO ADAM AND EVE, WHO SURRENDERED IT TO SATAN...GOD CAN'T MOVE UNLESS YOU SPEAK HIS WORD, AND IF SHE DIDN'T HEAR OR BE TAUGHT BY THE COPELAND MINISTRY WHAT...THEN...HOW WOULD SHE KNOW??
I too have been very grateful for the Copeland Ministries for helping me to better understand God's Word.
I have been a Kenneth Copeland Partner for a long time now. I have received his Partner letters every month and not once have I ever assumed he personally sat there and wrote them nor would I ever expect him to! I have always understood they were computer generated and it's never bothered me; it's THE CONTENT OF THE MESSAGE that matters and I have never found them to be unbiblical.
I have sent prayer requests, and again I have never, ever assumed that Kenneth and/or Gloria PERSONALLY read them.. I understand that THE MINISTRY reads them. I understand that the Ministry is made up of hundreds of people each with different assignments.. It would be to me, a completely unrealistic expectation that Kenneth and Gloria should read my prayer requests and it's never crossed my mind that they do. Then we should also expect them to be the ones who pick up the phone when we CALL for prayer; shouldn't we? We understand they can't.. Why should letters be any different? I have always understood that they have trained and anointed employees who are there for that very purpose; and as they have joined their faith with mine my prayers HAVE BEEN ANSWERED.
Last year I attended one of their Conferences and SAW FOR MYSELF that after preaching Gloria herself laid hands and ministered to EVERY SINGLE individual that went up to the altar for prayer; and that was A LOT OF PEOPLE! She checked and double-checked to make sure she hadn't missed a single one! Afterwards, those people gave testimony of their healing in the microphone, one by one, and there were many great miracles that had taken place! THAT is what Kenneth and Gloria Copeland not only teach but also do and they have been very faithful to their Lord with that.
So much is made of how much money they receive. But how much does it cost to run such a HUGE Ministry? Last time I heard it was a couple of million dollars PER MONTH just to be on TV!! So they don't personally read prayer requests from prisoners. But what about the fact that they put TVs in those prisons so that prisoners can be ministered to that way eevry day? And the fact that they DO PHYSICALLY, PERSONALLY go and minister to prisoners?
If I worked at KCM, I would do so as a service to JESUS not expecting to see the Copelands at all. I love them dearly as my brother and sister in the Lord but I don't worship them and it wouldn't matter one iota to me if I never, ever saw them. There will be plenty of time for that in Eternity! It wouldn't be my motivation for working there and I do understand that when they're not out ministering somewhere, they too need and certainly deserve some well-earned relaxation, private family time, and REST from people.
The lack of understanding here is that Jesus did not go and touch the thousands that followed Him. He said it , taught it and God did it in honour or because of Jesus,nor did Jesus feed the thousands, the disciples did the passing out. Jesus did the praying and again God did the miracles. In Copelands ministry, Kenneth / Gloria does the work , the praying, from a distance but still their love, obedience etc to God is honoured,noticed by God and thats what moves the hand of God in that ministry. They don't have to go and pray over every letter, that letter just has to come to that ministry that God is blessing and God blesses the people. Its not Ken and Gloria that do miracles its GOD, and God is not limited by touching nor praying over letters. He saw and knows every person that sent those letters, before Ken or Gloria saw them. It is about God , not about the Copelands. people follow a ministry when they see that God is blessing the ministry and the fruits of the people. The people interviewed maybe donot realize that they don't need Ken and Glorias approval for working at that ministry. God sent them there, its unto God we do all we do and not unto any man. Its God we need approval from and Ken and Gloria realize that and act in that and thank God they do.
This is the outline in the Bible. the pastors are supposed to be reveard and respected. God is over Christ, Christ over Church, Church over Man, and Man over wife. This is how God put things in order. this is a Crap report. For one you have a Homosexual Male as a witness then of all things a Catholic priest, good Lord you mine as well just have the devil show up. then someone who is completely obscured. this is stupid
