In fact, he would have sent people to each pastor not only telling them to give, but to do it with a good heart. This is cleary demonstrated in 2 Corinthians Chapter 9. Paul also says whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and whoever sows generously (lavishly) will also reap generously. Read this chapter.....you CANNOT outgive God. Its a matter of the heart of the giver. If I...the Giver....give someone a gift because the Lord has instructed me to do so, and I do this with a cheerful heart, isn't it then a gift unto the Lord? Of course it is.

Your post draws a sad picture of what Christendom has devolved to. When people of average income, (15-100 a year) can excuse these millionaires. The word said there would be times like these. I want to ask permission to use your quote in some Biblical discernment Bible studies and sermons if you don't mind. It encapsulates what the Church (universal) has sunk to.
Paul not only would not condone this excessive giving to an ALREADY multi-millionaire, but he would not even acknowledge this teacher of cheap grace and lust-driven prosperity hype, false prophesying, unsound, cold blooded liar as a child of God. These are the ones Paul wept over as enemies of the cross (total death to self) in Phil 3:18.

THEY WORK FOR THE CREATER OF THIS WORLD. everyone can prosper the same way. Heb 7: 5-18 explains that tithes were paid to the levites in the manner of Melchizedec.. and went on to explain that since we have a change of high priest there is also a change from the decrees and laws that govern the nation of Israel.. verse 18 plainly states that we are not under obligation to carry out the law because it is weak and ineffective.. the bible teaches that we are under grace not law.. so why do churches still teach their members that they must pay tithes.. Paul said that eace one must give what they resolve in their hearts not out of compulsion because God loves a cheerful giver.. Christians never paid tithes they gave voluntarily what they can afford.. teaching that tithing is for christians is a BIG FAT LIE and not suported in scripture
There are two systems of tithing...under the old testament law in Malachi 3:1-15
#1- Under the law you are cursed with a curse, however, we've been redeemed from the curse and are not under "obligation" to tithe because of what Jesus did for all of us.
Now if you will look at verse 10...this verse clearly states that if you bring all your tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me herewith, saith the Lord of host, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of host.
And all nations shall call you blessed...and you can continue through verse 15.
Now I will point out #2- This is the ONLY place in the Bible where the Lord not only ask you to test him...but he will pour out a BLESSING on you more than you need...
NOW, you ask yourself this question...would you not want Him to pour out a blessing and rebuke the devourer for your sakes...not based out of fear for not tithing (which means a tenth of your income) but love to give a tithe to THANK GOD FOR ALL THAT HE HAS BLESSED YOU WITH! Let me make a bold statement here...if you are tithing out of fear or obligation driven from your church...KEEP YOUR MONEY! Because it's a total waste! God loves a cheerful giver not a regretful or hesitant giver...
No, you aren't "obligated" to tithe...it is a pleasure to tithe...I GET to give to God because I love him and its out of love that I show my appreciation for what He has done in our family life. That is the attitude of gratitude. If your motive behind giving to a church or ministry in based out of selfishness or greed...keep your money...because the seed you gave was wasted because of bad motive...you'll never gain ground with an outlook like this. Praying you find the path of discovery on the TRUTH on tithing and will be blessed as our family has been because we love to tithe and offer up a "thank you" gift back to God for giving us all He has!!

I think Bro. Dollar's answers were very good. People seem to think that ministers should be broken down to a humble nothing and broke in their finances, only able to make it from paycheck to paycheck and eating the crumbs of others. When they are, people automatically judge them and say they aren't doing something right or they wouldn't be in such a financial tight. Then when they believe God for the best and are blessed such as these are, then folks automatically say they are thieving from the poor. My question to all those who are looking for ghosts and are constantly critizing ministers of God, where is that fine line to be drawn so that the constant harrassment stops and you're destructive appetite is satisfied? How much for them is too much or to little?

I send my hard earned donations - not tithes - to the little ministries that ate working on a shoe string to help the hungry for food and those hungry for God. I see giving to the BIG ministries as people as a form of "hero worship" and my hero is JESUS. Come out of the system and get to know only Jesus, not psesonalities.

There will be many that come in His name. They will heal the sick, cast out devils, etc., but He will say, "Depart from me, I know ye not ye workers of iniquity." God will allow souls to be saved by preaching the Word, but it does not necessarily mean that the person preaching the Word is of God. Many false prophets will arise in the last days. It appears that God is the very one who is taking these ministries down and allowing them to be exposed. I remember Joyce Meyer saying that she didn't think God would let her stand before his people and lie to them. Well, Joyce, you were right!
They are all going down and the world will be a better place without them. Then maybe people will seek God's face and want to know who HE is not how much money he can give you.

Very well stated. I followed others too long. I was too lazy to find out for myself. I was blessed to have the very un-deserved wisdom of God that I desperately cried out for. I will tell you this...when you have a real encounter with God you realize how fake and fading this whole world is. When you have a real encounter of Jesus Christ, who by the way told us to give up what we have and follow him, you realize the monsters in the world. I don't know if these evangilist are of God or not. What I do know is that this whole world was given to the devil by Adam. It has since been his playground and we have all been pawns in the game. It will end soon. The New World Order is here via satan, the occult, Iluminati, freemasonarys and our entertainment industry. Via drugs, poisoned water we were told to drink 8 times a day, vaccines to dumb down our children, and rock music that contains spells of demons. I am sorry to say that they are not being persecuted. Biblical persecution involves being persecuted for our belief in Christ, not our pocket books. Christians ARE to be discerning and anyone who reads ALL the Bible will quickly see that these men are perveyers of a gospel not centered on Christ and who HE is but on what He can do for us. He is not an ATM in the sky and prosperity teaching caters to our American "Me" culture. When we as Christians seek first the kingdom of GOD and HIS righteousness, we will not need to center our life on what "I" have. I have listened to these preachers alot and on the suface they seem o.k., but when you listen to hear what they say about GOD it is usually in a very man-centered way. Where is repentance and the depravity of man? Where is hell and the wrath of GOD? What have happened to "evangelism"? I am afraid when it comes to the popular preachers, it is a popularity contest and whoever tickles the most ears, wins.
I totally agreee with the person's assesment that God is going to punish those of you who persecute His chosen minister's. Only those with a true realtionship with God understand the blessing bestowed upon the Mega Preachers. No one is to judge how God wants to bless His man or woman of God! Has any of you persecutors read the description in Revelations of what Heaven looks like? There's nothing impoverished about our Lord. I love to see a blessed man of God. It gives me hope. The blessings of my pastor have rolled off him and onto me. I'm too busy trying to get mine to be worried about what the man of God has. I now pursue my purpose and what God has planned for me as a result of my Mega Preacher's ministry. Elevate your minds people. Christ died for them and he wants their needs met, but when one lives in a $2,000,000.00 home and owns horses and designer clothes while many are suffering and dying, this is wrong.

Ask yourself this question...if you had a ministry bringing in millions of dollars in donations from dear people for whom Christ died who need healing, deliverance and jobs, etc, and you used it to make yourself rich and bought thing you do not need, then you do belong with them in your greed and blindness and utter stupidity to think God wants you sitting on a $34,000 toilet while others die without Christ.

People should be giving there tighs and offerings and let God determine who is doing right with the money everyone is judged individually.People should be looking at our government were is all our tax money going. why is it you pay tolls in states and highway taxes and 2290 and high registration and the government or state is taking money out and using it somewere else and we still have terrible roads to drive on.
